Care in the Home

Our Care at Home service is on a mission to reduce isolation, loneliness, increase health and well-being and reduce repeated admissions to hospital. Compassion and kindness is at the core of every support we offer. We understand the pressures families can face when caring for older relative, we want to lift some of that pressure for unpaid carers.

Our offer of support is always person centred and flexible to fluctuating health needs. We are responsive to change and will provide a high standard of care that empowers people to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible in the comfort of their own home.

We will create a personalised plan with you and your family, ensuring that support is tailored to your wishes. We are not task and time driven; we are driven by people and their goals with an asset-based approach in mind. Understanding of the whole family needs, supporting unpaid carers to feel confident that their loved ones are receiving the right care at the right time.

Support we can offer you at home:

a. Meal prep and support with eating

b. Assistance with mobility

c. Support with personal care

d. Simple treatments and managing medication

e. Personal assistance and advice

When possible, and safe to do so, we will provide support during hospital admissions. Maintaining relationships and aim to continue support at home after discharge. We have a positive partnership with East Renfrewshire Council and will advocate for respite care and increased support when required.

Please note that the following services may be chargeable dependant on your assessed needs

a. Help with Housework

b. Laundry

c. Shopping

d. Services out with your home such as day care centres or lunch clubs

We have a large staff team with a mix of personalities and interests who we will always seek to match so as to best meet your needs. All our staff are trained in Adult Protection. Our Adult protection policy can be found here Adult Protection Policy
