Our Young Ambassador

Our Young Ambassador is a key member of our team both within Cosgrove and externally.  The role involves speaking about the work of the charity at public events and forums as well as representing the voice of young people who can’t speak for themselves.

Cosgrove are delighted that Cormac O’Hara is our first Young Ambassador.  Cormac from Newton Mearns has received support from Cosgrove over the last few years and uses his love of running to overcome the challenges of autism, epilepsy and anxiety.  He was selected for and participates in the Team GB Paralympic Pathway initiative which spots talent and provides help to train budding athletes and create future Paralympians.

Cormac is an inspiration to other young people and proof that, with the right support, you can achieve your hopes, dreams and potential.

His willingness to share his journey, challenges and successes with others is what makes him an excellent Young Ambassador for Cosgrove and we are delighted to have him on the team.
