We are pleased to share some exciting news about the future of Cosgrove Care.
After a careful and extensive search, we are delighted to announce that Carolann Lanigan will join Cosgrove Care as our new Chief Executive Officer. Carolann will officially take up her role on 7 April 2026.
Carolann has dedicated many years to working in the care sector and is deeply passionate about supporting people to live full, independent and meaningful lives. She believes strongly in treating everyone with dignity, respect and kindness. Throughout her career, she has focused on supporting people and families, improving services, and helping teams deliver the highest quality care.
Carolann shared her enthusiasm for the role:
“I am delighted to step into the role of CEO at Cosgrove Care and to continue the legacy that Heather has built in making a meaningful difference to people’s lives. I look forward to building on the strong foundations already in place and working closely with everyone who uses Cosgrove’s services, their families, our dedicated team, partners and the Board. My focus will be on delivering an ambitious and sustainable future for Cosgrove Care.”
I have been privileged to lead Cosgrove as Interim CEO over the last few months, and I would like to express my thanks to my colleagues, volunteers, supported people and families for being so supportive during this time. Your encouragement has meant a great deal.
We look forward to introducing Carolann to supported people, families, staff, volunteers and partners over the coming months. She is excited to meet the Cosgrove community, hear your experiences, and work with you to help Cosgrove Care grow and thrive.
