Mental Welfare Commission Feature Art by Cosgrove Artists on their Website.

We are delighted that the incredible art work produced by people we support now features on the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland website. This has been made possible by Donny Lyons, former Vice Chair of Cosgrove who was also a previous Director of the Mental Welfare Commission.

Donny together with Heather Gray, previous CEO of Cosgrove placed a strong emphasis on promotion and realisation of Human Rights for children and adults with learning disabilities. The creative arts is a key component of the work Cosgrove Care now does, using arts facilitators to build the skills, confidence and expression of people we support. You can find out more about our classes and how to access these by contacting care@cosgrovecare.org.uk

You can also support our charity by purchasing our amazing merchandise that features this artwork. We’d like to thank Donny for his support for securing this feature on the Mental Welfare Commission website and thanks our artists and arts facilitator, Susan Kennedy for allowing their work to be featured.
