Cosgrove Care- Response to Coronavirus ( COVID-19) Crisis

Cosgrove Care has created an Emergency Planning Team to ensure the safety and welfare of the people we support, our staff and volunteers with regard to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. We are continuing to work with partner organisations to deliver supports and services to those in need of vital support in East Renfrewshire, Glasgow, North and South Lanarkshire.

The team meets on a daily basis to plan and oversee our response, taking account of daily announcements and practice requirements. Information, support and planning is crucial at this time. The Emergency Planning Team share government and health advice with our team and via our social media channels, email, and on our website, as well as individual support should any cases arise. Our priority throughout is to ensure people’s wellbeing and we will take reasonable and necessary steps to minimise infection and disruption.

We send out briefings to all staff twice weekly, more frequently if needed and are keeping families and people we support up to date on a weekly basis, through letters, emails and through social media.

Access to Cosgrove’s offices is very restricted, with most teams working remotely for the foreseeable future. Face to face meetings are no longer taking place and we advise anyone with any enquiries to contact us by email.

Our office opening times for w/c 23 March 2020 are:

Monday- Friday- 9am- 5pm

Saturday and Sunday- 10-3pm.
