A very big “thank you” and “well done” to everyone that took part in the latest edition of the Virtual Kiltwalk from 23rd – 25th April! Cosgrove managed to achieve a record number of participants, including several people that we support, and reached an incredible fundraising total of £7,490.54, which comes to a fantastic £11,235.81 with the 50% top-up from the Hunter Foundation! This is a brilliant achievement that will enable the charity to provide the best possible support and services in our local communities.
Lots of fun was had while fundraising, with people walking, cycling and even accordioning for considerable periods of time to raise their funds!
We were especially delighted to be joined on the Kiltwalk adventure this time round by Wendy, who we support at her home in Giffnock, who along with some of the Cosgrove team managed to walk 26 miles over the weekend. What a great achievement!
Special thanks to the residents and staff at Dalmeny and Braidholm for their efforts in getting Kiltwalk activities organised, and in particular to Catherine Ann and Shannon for co-ordinating things!
