Cosgrove is delighted to announce that it has secured funding from the Energy Saving Trust’s Plugged-in Communities Grant Fund to purchase two new electric vehicles, helping the people we support access services, programmes, and activities across the local community.
The new vehicles, an electric Vauxhall Vivaro and Citroën Berlingo, will provide safe, reliable, and environmentally friendly transport for individuals attending appointments, community activities, and support programmes.
As part of the project, an electric vehicle charging point has also been installed, supporting the efficient operation of the vehicles and further reducing the organisation’s carbon footprint.
This investment demonstrates Cosgrove’s commitment to environmental sustainability while continuing to deliver high-quality support services. By adopting greener transport solutions, Cosgrove is not only improving access to opportunities for the people we support but also contributing to a more sustainable future for our communities.
