Cosgrove held a brand-new fundraising event on Sunday 14th May that brought together people that Cosgrove support, Cosgrove supporters and the wider community in a delightful and delicious Afternoon of Jazz! The event took place at Loks Bar and Kitchen, Newlands, and saw over 120 people enjoy wonderful music from Scottish Jazz Award-winners The Rose Room, and a selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones from Loks.
The event was sponsored by Inverarity Morton, and their Managing Director Stephen Russell said, “It was our pleasure to support Cosgrove’s Afternoon of Jazz fundraiser. We are delighted to be supporting a charity that supports those in need in it’s local community.”
Cosgrove’s fundraising activities for the year mark a return to events that bring together people in the local community and engage businesses and groups in the areas where they operate. Later this year, Cosgrove will be holding a tribute concert at Eastwood Park Theatre on November 5th, and will have the return of their Sporting Dinner on Thursday November 9th.
