Cosgrove Zip Slide Challenge raises over £5,500 for the Charity!
A team of staff, volunteers, friends and family took part in the Zip Slide across the Clyde recently and raised over £5,500 to support our work with local vulnerable people. Thanks to everyone who took part in the challenge on a wet and windy day and to everyone who supported us.
The funds raised allowed us to purchase equipment to support our Children’s Outreach services.
Each year, we do a challenge events which help us raise awareness, funds and visibility of our work. Heather Gray, CEO of Cosgrove said ‘ Every year we support over 200 children, young people and adults locally to enjoy life and achieve and get to make a positive contribution to society. The money we raise from Challenge Events helps us achieve this as well us giving people the change to challenge themselves and have fun for a good cause.
