Drama Group Volunteer
We are looking for volunteer activity assistants. Within the group the emphasis is on encouraging participation and creativity through drama in a fun, supportive environment. This volunteering role will suit individuals who are calm, friendly and helpful. It is also a good opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience of supporting adults with a range of learning disabilities, to get the most out of their time in a creative setting.
Time:
Fridays 10 am – 12noon or Fridays 1pm – 3pm

Social Sunday Helper Volunteer
Volunteers help the facilitator ensure things run smoothly:
Helping with the setting up and clearing up of the sessions:
- Serving soup and refreshments
- Chatting with the attendees
We are looking for volunteers who are warm, friendly and good listeners.
This volunteering opportunity offers the chance to develop your communication and social skills and to gain experience of volunteering with adults with learning disabilities in a supportive setting.
Time
Sunday afternoons 1pm – 3/3.30 pm
(The group runs fortnightly and the start and end times include 30 mins for setting and clearing up)

Volunteer Befriender
Volunteer Befriender wanted for a man we support in his late 40s with a cheerful, sunny disposition, who likes 80s music, Doctor Who, Batman and action movies.
Time:
Weekly or Fortnightly 1-2 hours – flexible to suit volunteer’s availability – to share outings to the cinema, walks, going for a coffee and chat.
Location:
Giffnock/ Glasgow.
Requirements:
Two references and a PVG required (organised by Cosgrove).
Travel & out of pocket expenses reimbursed.
Minimum age 18.
We look for volunteers who are kind, caring, reliable and trustworthy.
