How To Volunteer

Thinking about Volunteering?

Volunteers contribute a vital role within Cosgrove as their time, energy and commitment play a huge part in our success.

Volunteering can offer you the opportunity to take on a new challenge, develop skills, meet new people and see the life-changing benefits of Cosgrove’s work at first-hand.

Our volunteer opportunities cover a wide range of skills and interests and we have something suitable for everyone. Roles include befriending, charity shop assistants, fundraising and administrative, event coordinators, play scheme volunteers, and adult summer scheme volunteers.

If you would like to use your spare time positively to contribute to the work of Cosgrove, you can find our current volunteering opportunities below. If you have specific skills or interests in other areas that are not currently advertised then we would still love to hear from you as we may be able to develop a bespoke role with you in mind.

If you are interested in volunteering at Cosgrove please fill the Volunteer Application Form.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time volunteering , I have only been doing a bit of shopping and having regular telephone chats with a lady , I have found her engaging and really good company , I look forward to our calls. I felt I was doing a tiny little bit to help in this crisis"

Feedback from Anne-Marie, one of our COVID Telephone Befrienders
