Our Outreach Support Service welcomed the Care Inspectorate for an unannounced inspection in April this year. Our verbal feedback and draft report confirm that our staff interactions are warm, caring and empowering, our staff are professional and informed and the people we support are included in staff and service development.
The inspector noted that our matching of people and support workers is evidence of real person centred practice which offers choice and promotes positive and sustainable working relationships.
Pauline Boyce, Head of Operations is thrilled. She makes the point that Cosgrove Care has experienced significant change in recent months, with changes to staff at various levels and business growth. However the care inspectorate noted that there has been no evidence of any negative impact, in fact people stated this is an exciting time for the service.
