Sainsburys' Charity of the Year
Cosgrove are delighted that Sainsbury’s Darnley have nominated us to be their charity of the year! Many thanks to Linda Davidson for making initial contact.
The opportunities this opens up to Cosgrove in terms of our name being recognised in the wider community are very much welcomed. We will be working closely with Sainsbury’s over the next year and already seem to be have established a close relationship.
The Darnley superstore has been extended and refurbished and the store launch took place on Wednesday 29th September. Sainsbury’s kindly invited Cosgrove to attend the store opening and asked us to involve our service users: the art group prepared a “Good Luck” banner for display in store and the music group provided musical entertainment on the day. We also had an information table set up, which increased our profile within the community. |
